Developing a rough sleepers’ database system in the City of Kawasaki

We have been working closely with a non-profit organisation called Wednesday Patrol, based in the City of Kawasaki. Wednesday Patrol provides street outreach services and their internal data on rough sleepers has been used to develop a rough sleepers’ database system since 2009. The current database contains approximately 30,000 records of a total of 7,000 individuals. So far, it has been just used by Wednesday Patrol workers for their daily operation. We are now aiming to make use of this database for policy proposals by producing database reports(see Sample Database Report).
