Research trip to London(14 - 24 September, 2015)
Six of our team members visited London for two weeks in September 2015 in order to learn about rough sleeping measures in London with a particular focus on the London Delivery Board that was running until the year of the London Olympics. Fourteen organisations including government departments, local authorities and voluntary sector organisations have kindly helped us conduct interviews and one local authority and its commissioned services have also given us valuable opportunities to visit projects and shadow outreach shifts. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the people who have helped us conduct this research trip in London. Thanks to them, we are even more determined to work hard in our city Tokyo to make a real change for Tokyo's homelessness sector as well as the lives of homeless people in Japan.
